MultiConvert II converts any unit into all other units of that type in real time. Simply enter a measurement in the text field for one unit, and all other text fields update to display the same measurement in other units.

Version 4.0, released on December 16, 2008, adds some user interface enhancements and automatically updates itself when you're connected to the Internet. Currency conversion rates are updated every six hours from the European Central Bank. New unit types since version 3.0 include Capacitor, Inductor, and Resistor Color Codes; Electricity (enter any two of voltage, current, resistance, and power to calculate the other two); and Shoe Size.

The following types of units are supported by MultiConvert II 4.0:

  • Acceleration

  • Base Converter (decimal, hexadecimal, octal, binary, etc.)
